Fading

The noise was just too much. The thumping that came from upstairs was getting louder and louder every second that passed by. Thump, thump, thump is all she heard morning noon and night. It was driving her crazy. She sat in her chair and thought. But she couldn't think everything faded behind the thumping. She stood from her chair walked to the stairs. Step by step she would ascend her eyes met with the noise. She saw her heart raise and fall. The noise, the noise was driving her mad she must have peace. She would run out the back door onto the dock. The sun was setting no matter how far she got she could still hear the noise. She reached the end of the dock.

The waters looked so calming. She would lean far over peering into the ocean. In a second she lost her balance splashing into the freezing waters. The shock of the coldness forced all her air out. Sinking to the bottom of the ocean. Her eyes closed she didn't fight. At that second she felt the silence. She started to slip into the nothingness. The black void growing filling everything that was her. Thump, Thump, Thump she heard pulling her further away from the void.

Heartless

There she was peering at the heart that caused her so much pain. The same claws that ripped it out of her chest would tap on the glass.  Her claws scratched as they slid down. It was better kept safe as a shrine instead of pumping life into her veins. She liked it better this way. The void where her heart had been turned into an icicle blizzard wonderland. She was still mesmerized watching the heart that once was hers. The glow of all that she knew and loved was blinding warming her razor sharp talons. 

She would leave her marks on the glass as she shrunk her arms back to her side. Her eyes would close as she took a step back. Turning away putting distance from the shrine. She would glance back one more time before it fade from her sight.

The broken phone

She would hope her phone was broken but that was not the case. It just didn't ring anymore. She would catch herself glancing at her phone hoping. She had gotten a text a few days back. It surprised ans shocked her. She didn't know what to make of it. Didn't know how to respond if she should even respond at all, but she responded in a simple good manner.
A few days would pass and she thought maybe it was a good idea to send a text. A text about how she felt about what had happened. Who knew maybe her phone would start lighting up again.
